When a prototype is sent through our facility, it is treated the same as a real-time production run. All quality and manufacturing processes remain the same to assure exact specifications are met for both the prototype and the initial product design. Using prototypes for DFM (design for manufacturability), our engineers not only verify product accuracy, but choose the best manufacturing process before the entire job goes into full production. If a simulation run reveals weak spots, the prototype is redesigned, resulting in improved manufacturability and cost savings.
