Our story

In 1955, James W. Haarsma I founded ACE Stamping & Machine Co., Inc. in the basement of the Sattley Building in Racine, WI. After years of promising growth, in 1986 James broke ground on a major expansion to ACE’s original facility, with his son Ronald and head tool man William Tempke by his side.
More than two decades later, Ronald still reflects on that midsummer morning in 1989 and realizes he was part of something special that day. He shared in his father’s dream that morning: a dream of what today is a thriving company known as ACE Stamping & Machine Co., Inc.
James always credited his passion and endless hours of hard work for laying the foundation of ACE. However, he never forgot that it was the dedicated employees who built the success story ACE has become. Today, ACE continues to grow at a record pace and is a key international player in the metal stamping and fabrication industry.
